FISHERS ABC
Since our pond is small, only five fish hooks can be used at a time. Vacant fish
hooks are by the pond along with bait. If something of them is missing turn to the
griller. If you need help with fishing turn to the griller or his help. Besides bait and a
fish hook you are also going to need a scoop-net, which are kept next to the
barbecue oven. The best place to throw in your fish hook is near the low-edged
places, since, when the fish bites, those will be the easiest places to get them out of
the water. Set the bobber on 1 meter mark on the fish line, put the bait on the hook
(the best bait is a bit of fish or shrimp), and start fishing. When the bobber
disappears under water, it is necessary to pull the fishing rod upwards with a
sudden yank, keeping in mind, you are dealing with delicate, but heavy trout. You
have to tire out the fish in the water and move it towards the waterside near the
scoop-net. Use only the scoop-net to get the fish out of the water. If you try to pull
the fish out using the fishing rod, then usually the mouth of the fish, the fishing line,
or the hook breaks. An injured fish will die later. We usually find them later. Dead
fish contaminate the pond. When you have caught the fish with the scoop-net call
the griller so he could help you or if you have the strength, bring the fish to the
griller in the scoop-net. Your fish will be weighed and you will be issued a paper slip
with the weight of the fish and a wooden table number to take to the barman. Then,
you go to the bar, give the paper slip to the barman. You will be charged based on
the weight of the fish. If you wish, you can then order side dishes for your fish.
When you have chosen your table, put the wooden number so the waitresses can
see it easily.
